(三種身, 三种身)

The Tiantai School has a definition of [lang id =1028]色身 the physical body of the Buddha; [lang id =1028]法門身 his psychological body with its vast variety; [lang id =1028]實相身 his real body, or (sa) dharmakāya. The esoteric sect ascribes a (sa) trikāya to each of its honoured ones. v. [lang id =1028]三身.
